A ranar 26 ga Yuni, 2025, Hukumar Lafiya ta Kasa ta China ta amince da D-allulose kuma ta sanar da shi a hukumance a matsayin sabon rukunin sabbin sinadaran abinci jiya (2 ga Yuli), wanda hakan ya ba da damar wannan "maye gurbin sukari mai tauraro" da ake tsammani ya yi fice a China. A ranar 2 ga Yuli, ma'aunin shaharar "allulose" a dandalin wechat ya karu da kashi 4,251.95%.
